Valencia Travel Guide
Located on the sunny Eastern coastline of Spain, Valencia is a haven for those seeking golden beaches, incredible cuisine and a unique culture. Valencia is an ideal holiday destination as it offers entertainment for any traveller, from families with children, to backpackers looking for nightlife.

The city itself is a blend of medieval and futuristic architecture, and has a rich artistic and scientific community. The ‘City of Arts and Sciences’ (CAC), a complex made up of several buildings, is a modern architectural wonder and has a surface area of 350,000 square meters. The sprawling complex is home to an IMAX cinema, Science Museum, an aquarium and an opera house. Daring architectural statements such as the CAC are contrasted with the traditional design of Valencia’s many iconic buildings and monuments.
During the peak summer months (June to August) Valencia is buzzes with tourists, sunbathing on its beaches during the day and enjoying paella ‘al fresco’ in the warm evenings. After dark, Valencia continues to provide its visitors with much to see and do. Although it only gets going much later than most cities, Valencia's nightlife is a force to be reckoned with, and staying out until sunrise is a common occurrence.
