In the city where your address is everything, the Warwick has everyone talking. Not just about our ideal location, but what we stand for. Built by William Randolph Hearst in 1927 for his celebrity friends, the hotel is an oasis of European-style elegance in midtown Manhattan.
The celebrity secret of the hotel is that many stars like to stay at the Warwick. The Beatles always booked the Warwick because the lobby is intimate. This means fewer autograph seekers and a quicker escape into the elevators, if need be. Furthermore, the suites are enormous and are laid out like apartments, some even have wrap-around terraces. Cary Grant lived in the Warwick with one such apartment for 12 years.
The Warwick is mere steps away from Broadway's bright lights, Central Park, Carnegie Hall, City Center, Rockefeller Center, Fifth Avenue, The Museum of Modern Art and countless dining and shopping opportunities.
Bars & Restaurants
Randolph's, a newly expanded and refurbished restaurant and lounge, is designed more like a living room than a bar, with cushy sofas and armchairs and large windows overlooking the drama along Avenue of the Americas. There's an express business lunch menu, an extensive wine list, and a bar staff with an encyclopedic knowledge of cocktails, from traditional to trendier-than-thou. Because Randolph's is situated amid the Midtown business and tourism district, it's the perfect place for a relaxed business chat or a pre- or post-theatre rendezvous.
Rooms & Suites
The Warwick's 425 guest rooms were recently renovated. English country furniture and soft furnishings add a touch of elegance; appointments such as marble bathrooms and mahogany armoires add a touch of luxury. All rooms provide mini-bars, multi-line telephones, voicemail, computer dataports, and color cable TV; the international, multilingual staff includes valets and Clef d'Or concierge. Many of the 70 suites, popular for business and social gatherings, have private terraces.
Conference & Banquet
The hotel's 7,000-square-foot function space was recently furbished, transforming the rooms, through special touches like hand-painted frescos and English chintz, from basic to extraordinary. With a spacious central pre-function area, and all conference and banquet rooms on the same floor, companies and social guests have privacy and the luxury of the choice of a cluster of rooms that perfectly suit their room requirements.
Hotel Facilities
A new fitness facility with treadmills, stationary bikes and a full range of free weights, is available for a nominal fee for guests. Other amenities include a 24-hour business center and valet parking.
