Engo Gard is a luxury Norway hotel located on the beautiful and scenic Tjome Island. The hotel building dates from 1845 and has operated as a country inn since the 1920s. Accommodations
Engo Gard has 15 spacious guest rooms and nine suites all individually decorated in warm, vibrant colors. Traditional-style guest rooms are found in the Inn and other guest rooms are decorated in a modern Scandinavian style, yet in keeping with the rustic charm of the hotel.

Dining and Entertainment
With nature on the doorstop, the use of local, seasonal ingredients are a feature of the Engo Gard Restaurant. The fruits of the ocean play an important part of the culinary traditions and chef Per Hallundbaek uses a lot of scallops and salmon from local rivers. He has installed a smoker to smoke salmon on-site and serves breakfast bacon from free-range pigs.
