Memphis city, or "Bluff City" as it is locally known, sits in the middle of the "Sun Belt" in the southwest corner of Tennessee with the Mississippi River to the west. Uniquely positioned and legendary as the birthplace of "the blues", this city is proud to offer its visitors a superb choice of entertainment and beautiful natural attractions including some of the most spectacular sunsets in America. Ashburn-Coppack Park provides the most stunning views of the Memphis skyline and the Mississippi River. A closer examination of the river is recommended aboard the majestic River Queen boats that depart daily from Cobblestone Wharf. Downtown, Beale Street thrives as a center for musical entertainment, dining, shopping, and culture. On the edge of Memphis is Graceland, former home of Elvis Presley; it is open daily for guided tours.
