Stuttgart Dress Code
For business meetings, both men and women wear suits. Casual clothes, including jeans, are acceptable for sightseeing and informal dining, but in the more exclusive restaurants and bars men will be expected to wear a jacket and tie. Generally, German women tend to dress up rather than down, so for social functions it is preferable to choose more formal clothing.
Greeting Someone in Stuttgart
Germans are inclined to be quite formal, particularly on first meeting. A handshake is the usual greeting accompanied by the person's title such as 'Herr' when addressing a man, 'Frau' when addressing a woman.
Stuttgart Business Hours and Banking
Business hours in Germany vary from one industry and sector to another but as a guide, most office environments operate between 09.00 and 17.30, Monday to Friday. Banks at airports and main train stations open as early as 06:30 and close as late as 22.30.

In Germany, smoking is prohibited where notified and on public transport and in some public buildings. It is always advisable to take your cue from those around.
