Munich International Airport (MUC) is located nineteen miles (twenty-nine kilometres) northeast of the city centre. A major route into Germany, Munich International Airport is used by a large number of both German domestic, European and international airlines.

There are excellent customer facilities at Munich International Airport that include a number of cash machines (ATMs), banks, bureau de change, an array of shops inside the terminal buildings that includes duty-free, restaurants, bars, cafes and fast-food outlets.
