Dubrovnik Airport: General Airport Guide

Čilipi, Konavle, 20117, Dubrovnik
Tel: 2077-3377 or 2077-3233

The airport is situated 21km southeast of the city on motorway E65. It has been undergoing a massive expansion programme for several years, resulting in a most stylish and efficient new Terminal A, completed in December 2006. Further expansion is on the cards for a new runway and a four-star airport hotel amongst other construction works after 2011.

Many low-cost airlines fly to Dubrovnik from around most major cities in Europe such as London, Geneva, Paris, Frankfurt and Rome. Operating airlines include British Airways, Croatia Air, Aer Lingus, Lufthansa and EasyJet. Please note that flights into Dubrovnik are seasonal, mainly during the summer months from May to October, and that flights can be significantly reduced during the Winter.

An Information Desk is in Terminal A near the check-in counters. Disabled facilities include ramps and specially adapted toilets. The main international car rental companies have desks in the terminal near the flight arrivals exit, and the airport car park is directly adjacent to the terminal.

Interesting Information about Dubrovnik Airport
A pre-historic cave under the airport apron complete with stalactites and stalagmites, Durovic Cave, is also a wine cellar, Skycellar, which offers wine tasting. A shop and wine museum are also situated in the cave. Opening hours: 10.00-18.00. The airport also has a garden - an ideal escape for those with a long wait before their flight.
