Brussels Airport (BRU) is located 14 kilometres (nine miles) north-east of Brussels city centre. As Brussels is Europe's administrative heart, the airport handles a large number of international flights both from the rest of Europe and the wider world.
There are many passenger facilities in the one large terminal at Brussels International Airport. These include a number of bureaux de change booths and cash machines (ATMs) throughout the terminal. In addition, there is a tempting selection of restaurants, cafes and bars at the airport. Shops include duty-free, and for the business traveller there are fully serviced conference rooms available.
For travellers looking to rent a car on arrival, there are many car rental companies represented at Brussels Airport, including Alamo, Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz and National.
There are several car-parking options at Brussels Airport. Long-term and short-term parking are very well catered for as both alternatives have two car parks near to the terminal. In addition, Brussels Airport offers disabled passenger parking.
