Washington, DC - Dulles International Airport
Dulles International Airport (IAD) is 26 miles (42 kilometers) west of Washington DC, and between 45 minutes to one hour by road. At present, there are 43 airlines that use the use the airport: serving 80 cities within the United States and 28 international destinations. One of the busiest airports in America, over 20 million passengers used the airport in 2000.
The terminal buildings offer a wide variety of shops, eateries and services. These include bureaux de change, ATMs, visitor information, duty free, high street shops, renowned restaurants and bars. Special business service centres are located at the east and west ends of the upper level of the main terminal and are open daily from 07:00 to 21:00. They provide bureau de change facilities, fax, insurance, notary, photocopying, Internet, e-mail and other services.
There are excellent facilities for those who wish to hire a car on arrival with Avis, Dollar and Hertz among the companies who operate at IAD. In addition, there are good car parking facilities at the airport with long and short-term parking, economy parking, valet parking and parking for disabled passengers available.
Washington, DC - Baltimore Washington International Airport
Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) is 30 miles (50 kilometers) northwest of the city and the journey to Washington DC will take around 45 minutes. BWI handles a large number of domestic and international flights through 29 airlines. The airport is a busy one and 19.6 million people passed through BWI in 2000.

Washington, DC - Washington Ronald Reagan National Airport
Washington Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA) is four miles (seven kilometers) south of Washington, close to Arlington National Cemetery and about a 15 minutes drive. The airport has three terminals and services are short-haul domestic only, including 171 flights per week to 64 cities within the United States and three Canadian cities. In total, 16 million passengers use the airport each year with 23 airlines
Facilities at Washington Ronald Regan National Airport include bureaux de change, ATMs, visitor information, shops, restaurants, bars and cafés. In terms of business facilities, there are fax machines, photocopying, notary and other services provided by the customer service centres in Terminals B and C.
On arrival, cars can be hired from Avis, Dollar and Hertz. Alternatively, for those bringing their own vehicles, DCA has good parking facilities with both daily and long-term parking catered for.
