Tampa - Tampa International Airport

Tampa International Airport (TIA) is only eight miles (13 kilometers) from downtown and is served by most major domestic carriers as well as a number of international airlines.

There are excellent passenger facilities at TIA, including a bank, bureau de change, ATMs, telephones, several restaurants, cafés, bars and shops. A medical centre and a chapel are also on hand and open 24 hours.

Car hire companies include Avis, Budget, Dollar, Hertz and National. There are also several off-airport car rental companies that run transport from the airport to their cars. These leave from the Commercial Ground Transportation Quadrants, located on the baggage reclaim level.

There is a short-term parking garage for stays of four hours or less, with direct access to the terminal. The long-term car park provides a monorail service for access to the terminal. Valet parking is also available.
