Singapore Changi International Airport (SIN) is situated 20 kilometres (12 miles) east of Singapore city. It handles international connections from all around the globe, acting as a hub for the local region of South-East Asia, and a key stopover for flights from Europe to Australasia.

Singapore Changi Airport has two terminals. Terminal 2 is noted for its state-of-the-art construction. A third terminal, even more modern than the others, is now being built. The terminals at Singapore Changi Airport serve a large number of airlines offering both long-haul and short-haul flights. The terminals are equipped with everything incoming and outgoing passengers may require, including banking facilities, specialist shops and news-stands. The Skytrain, a free-to-user transit system with a journey time of two minutes, connects them.
