Scottsdale Airport Information
Scottsdale - Sky Harbor International Airport
Sky Harbor International Airport is five miles southeast of downtown Phoenix. Like all airports in North America, Sky Harbor International Airport, Phoenix, has stepped up its security operation. Travelers, therefore, should be patient and allow plenty of time when arriving or leaving the airport.
Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport has three passenger terminal buildings: Terminal 2, Terminal 3 and Terminal 4. Each terminal has its own parking garage, car rental counters, shops, services, restaurants and ground transportation facilities, including a courtesy inter-terminal shuttle bus system. Each terminal has a selection of Native American craft shops, souvenir stores, clothing and accessories, newsstands, cafés and restaurants.
Nine car rental companies are located at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. All have rental counters in the baggage claim area of each terminal. Some have vehicles available at the terminals while others have courtesy shuttles to take customers to a nearby parking compound. The customer shuttle service is located outside the terminals adjacent to baggage claim.
There are two types of parking facilities at Phoenix Sky Harbor Boulevard International Airport; Terminal Parking Garages (Terminal Lots) at each terminal and long-term Economy Parking Lots located to the west near I-10 Papago Freeway and to the east near the Hohokam Expressway. "Pay 'n' Go" parking machines, located in the elevator lobbies of Terminal 4, allow drivers to pay for parking before returning to the parking lot, saving time when exiting.
