Santiago - Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport

Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport (SCL) is located 16 kilometres (10 miles) north-west of Santiago city centre. A busy and efficient airport, it handles flights to and from other South American locations as well as being used by many major international airlines.

The airport has many passenger facilities throughout its two terminals. As well as numerous ATMs (cash machines), bureaux de change areas located throughout the terminal building and three full-service banks, the airport can also boast a good choice of bars, restaurants, coffee shops and snack bars. In addition, shopping is excellent, with many stores selling all kinds of popular and unique items. There are also four tempting duty-free stores at the complex. For the business traveller, the International Terminal has its own business centre that can be hired in advance.

Car-parking options at the airport include short-term, situated directly opposite the main terminal area, and long-term, which is further away from the airport terminals and offers almost 1000 spaces. However, a complimentary shuttle bus frequently covers the short distance from the long-term car park to both terminals.
