Portofino Airport Information

Genoa Airport is conveniently located six kilometres (four miles) from the centre of Genoa and it is well connected to the city by train, bus and taxi, allowing easy access to Portofino. Several passenger and cargo airlines provide services at the Genoa Airport.

Genoa International Airport (GOA) Terminal

The Genoa Airport features one passenger terminal, offering many services for the air traveller. Services such as banking facilities, ATMs, postal services, lost and found office, tourist information centre, Internet access, duty-free shopping as well as several other shops, featuring leading brands in fashion, shoes, souvenirs, perfumes and electrical goods, are all available at the airport terminal. Self-service restaurants, bars and snack outlets are also located throughout the airport terminal for the benefit of travellers.

Car Parking

There are 800 parking spaces located outside the arrivals concourse at Genoa Airport. Discounts are offered for long-term parking. The car park is open from 5:00 am to 12:00 midnight. There are automatic and staff-operated pay stations at the car park and payments can be made through cash, credit card and prepaid debit cards. ATM cards are also accepted at staff-operated pay stations.

Car rental companies such as Auto Europa, Avis, E-sixt, Easy Car, Europcar, Happycar, Hertz, ItalybyCar and Maggiore offer car rental services at the Genoa Airport.

Transportation

Rapid bus link connects the airport and the city centre, with buses leaving the airport every half an hour. Buses feature air conditioning and separate baggage areas providing comfortable transportation for the travellers. Taxis can be hired outside the arrivals concourse and the official taxis can be identified by the yellow decals. The train station is also located close to the airport and travellers can take a bus to get to the train station.
