For visitors, it is important to keep in mind that travelling during the rainy season is not inconvenienced, as after a short spell of heavy rain, the sun will shine for the remaining part of the day. If you intend to indulge in swimming and diving, then it is not recommended to visit Phuket during June-August, due to the dangerous oceanic undercurrents that make it unsafe to swim.
