It leads into Philadelphia from the east and the west. I-95 is also the link to New York City (a two hour journey from Philadelphia) and Boston (around six hours).
Getting Around Philadelphia
A high speed rail line connects the airport and city center. The journey takes about 25 minutes and trains leave every half hour. Taxis cost from 20 to 25 USD to the downtown area and travel time is about 20 to 30 minutes. Philadelphia is also served by Amtrak and 30th Street Station close to many city center hotels. Depending on the weather, Philadelphia is a pleasant place in which to get around on foot, being relatively compact and safe.
