As you would expect for such a busy and popular destination, Orlando is well served by interstate highways, excellent rail links and, of course, the Orlando International Airport.
Arriving by Air
The area is served by the important Orlando International Airport (MCO). The airport is used by a large number of business and leisure travelers from both the United States and the wider world; over 80,000 perople pass through the MCO terminals each day.
Arriving by Car
If driving from Miami or Miami Beach, take the I-95 north to the city of Orlando. From southern states west of Florida, the I-10 travels west to east into Florida and intersects with I-75. The I-75 should then be taken in a southward direction to Orlando.
Getting Around Orlando
Taxi sevices cannot be hailed on the strrets in Orlando so they should be booked in advance. They are a reliable way of getting around the city of Orlando. Alternatively, there is a comprehensive and efficient bus service that serves the city, including the downtown area and the Disney complex.
