Time Off
The 'Fountaine du Soleil' marks the city centre with its bright pastel buildings of the Place Massena to the pedestrian shopping street (Rue de France), full of exclusive shops, restaurants and cafés with outdoor terraces, where in true French style, people sit and watch the world go by. A centre of activity, with its fair share of theatres, museums and of course the beach, visitors cannot fail to find something to enjoy, even if it's a simple stroll along the famous Promenade des Anglais, along the seafront. Popular, daily markets selling fresh produce are held in the Cours Saleya, where once a week there's the chance to pick up the odd antique in the fleamarket.
