Pakistan experiences a hot spell throughout the country during the middle of the year and a cold season from December to February. Therefore the best time for a holiday in Lahore is the period in between these months. The coastal area of the country is pleasant and warm, during November to February, with the temperature around 25°C and 29°C (77°F - 85°F). Comfortable, cool nights and light showers are common during this time. The months of April, May and September should be avoided as these months are unbearably hot and humid with the temperature rising as high as 40°C (104°F -114°F).
