Jaipur Airport

The Jaipur Airport is located 13 kilometres (8 miles) south of the Jaipur city. Indian Airlines, the national air carrier, provides flights between Jaipur, Delhi, Mumbai and Aurangabad. Jet Airways and Sahara Airlines are private air carriers, and are much more reliable with regard to flight schedules.

Jaipur Airport Terminals

Jaipur Airport has a single terminal operating domestic arrivals and departures. The terminal has several eateries and snack bars serving refreshments for the travellers. Other facilities at the airport include luggage trolleys, on-call medical facilities, wheelchairs and other assistance for the physically challenged travellers, and a shopping centre for purchasing knick-knacks.

Transportation

Jaipur Airport is linked to the main city via the Delhi-Jaipur National Highway. Public buses are available for quick transportation within city limits and the journey to Delhi from Jaipur takes five hours. Autos (three-wheelers) and rickshaws provide convenient travelling for individuals and small groups. Shatabdi Express, Pink City Express and other Jaipur-Delhi trains provide consistent rail transportation to the travellers arriving at the Jaipur Airport.
