Dress Code: Hyderabad is fairly warm all throughout the year; therefore it’s advisable to wear light suits and cotton shirts when one plans to go out during the day. But during December, the nights are cool and visitors are adviced to bring some warm clothing along.

Greeting Someone: When greeting someone it is considered polite to rise to your feet and shake their hand. But, as most Indian women do not prefer to shake hands - it is better to greet them in the traditional way by bringing your palms together with fingers pointing up and saying ‘Namaste’.

Business Hours and Banking: The business hours in Hyderabad are generally from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday - although some companies do work on Saturdays. Shops are open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Banking hours are from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on weekdays and 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Saturdays.
