Düsseldorf Airport Information
Düsseldorf International Airport (DUS)
Düsseldorf International Airport (DUS) is located about ten km (eight miles) from the center of Düsseldorf Germany's second busiest airport, it hosts both scheduled operations and chartered flights, and is the air transport hub for the Nordrhein-Westfalia region.
Düsseldorf International Airport (DUS) has a new central terminal building scheduled to open in summer 2003. Passengers will move to their planes through three concourses, A, B, and C. Sparkling new architecture makes space for up to date facilities: a shopping arcade, an airport service center and a conference center.
Metro train (S-bahn) services connect to the city center from a station underneath the terminal; the nearby intercity Airport Railway Station offers many express and standard train services to the region and northern Europe; the area is linked into the national motorway system. Car parking spaces are available at the airport: the P4 parking space is linked to the terminal by the SkyTrain.
