Denver International Airport (DEN / DIA) is located 23 miles northeast of downtown Denver. The Denver International Airport terminal building is named after Elrey B Jeppesen, businessman and aviation pioneer, famous for his "Jepp" navigational maps and charts.
Spacious Denver International Airport encompasses 1.5 million square feet and its central atrium is constructed of walled glass and features a uniquely shaped translucent roof. Denver International Airport is the only airport in the world where travelers can cross an active airfield via the bridge that connects Concourse A to the Jeppesen Terminal.
