Arriving by Air
There is an international airport, Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) , that seves the Cleveland area. In addition, there is a corporate, non-commercial airport in the downtown area of Cleveland.
Arriving by Car
Cleveland is connected to its suburbs and the rest of the state by a series of interstate highways. I-90 and I-80 (Ohio Turnpike) run eastwest through the Downtown, connecting Toledo in the west and Ashtabula in the east. Running south from the shores of Lake Erie, I-71 connects with Columbus and Cincinnati, while I-77 connects with Akron and points on the eastern half of Ohio.
Getting Around Cleveland
The city's transit system has recently been under review and public transport is being developed in schemes like the Euclid Corridor Transportation Project that includes over seven miles (11 kilometers) of exclusive bus lanes on arterial streets. Electric trolley buses and other modern forms of transport make getting about Cleveland easier than most North American cities.
