Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) is located 21 kilometers (13 miles) southwest of downtown Cincinnati.
Arriving by Car
There are a significant number of interstate highways that seve the city of Cincinnati, Ohio. The I-74 comes into the city from Indianapolis, the I-71 heads into the city from Louisville in the south and Cleveland in the north, the I-75 passes through Cincinnati on its way from Detroit in the north to Atlanta, Georgia.
Getting Around Cincinnati
A typical fare taxi from the airport to downtown Cincinnati is about 22 USD. There are taxi stands throughout the central Fountain Square area of Cincinnati for your return trip to the airport. The airport and the downtown area are also well linked with frequent and inexpensive shuttle-buses.
Downtown Cincinnati is easily walkable with all the main attractions very accessible. Skywalks connect hotels, convention centers and many stores and restaurants. "Metro" runs buses from Government Square (5th Street between Walnut and Main Streets) and there is also a downtown loop bus (No 79).
