Chicago - Chicago O'Hare International Airport

Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) is located 32 kilometres (20 miles) north-west of downtown Chicago. One of the world's busiest airports, Chicago O'Hare is a hub of national air transportation in the United States. Recently, the airport was voted 'Best Airport in North America' by international travellers.

Chicago O'Hare currently has four terminals, with an international terminal, airport transit and a car rental centre. After the recent success of development projects involving the international terminal and the ATS, future plans include programmes that will address improved concessions and noise reduction.

Chicago O'Hare provides easy access to car rentals, with the primary rental firms located in the lower level of Terminal 1, Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. International Terminal 5 passengers can access rental car courtesy boards in the lower level of the terminal to arrange for pickup from rental agencies.

Chicago O'Hare operates hourly, daily and valet parking in a central location between Terminals 1, 2 and 3. Parking is also available near the international terminal.

Chicago - Chicago Midway Airport

Chicago Midway Airport (MDW) is located just 16 kilometres (10 miles) from downtown Chicago. One of the fastest growing airports in the continent, Chicago Midway is able to serve 18.5 million travellers. Chicago Midway is a major source of employment and income for the Chicago area.

Chicago Midway currently has three concourses, serving major airlines such as American, Continental and Southwest. After the recent success of development with a new six-storey parking garage, Chicago Midway Airport continues to improve conditions for travellers.

In 2001, the Chicago Airport System opened the new Midway Airport Terminal Building, which features a two-level terminal roadway system separating arrivals and departures, expanded ticketing and baggage claim areas and state-of-the-art amenities.

Chicago Midway provides easy access to car rentals, with Alamo Rent-A-Car, Avis Rent-A-Car, Budget Rent-A-Car, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz Corporation, National Car Rental and Thrifty located in the Terminal Building.

Chicago Midway operates hourly and daily parking in a convenient location between 55th and 59th Streets just east of Cicero Avenue. Economy parking is available at two separate locations: east of Cicero Avenue and also west of Cicero Avenue on 55th Street. There are free shuttles that run from the economy car park to the Terminal Building.
