Cape Town Airport Information
Cape Town - Cape Town International Airport
Cape Town International Airport (CPT) is located 26 kilometres (16 miles) east of central Cape Town. A busy and hectic airport that handles a large number of daily arrivals and departures, Cape Town has three terminals: one international and two domestic.
There is a good standard of passenger facilities throughout the three terminals of Cape Town International Airport. As well as the banks and bureaux de change in both the domestic and international departures areas, there is an additional service in the international arrivals area. Throughout the airport, there are also many cash machines (ATMs) to be found. There is a wide selection of eateries and bars in the three terminals, and the international terminal boasts some excellent duty-free shopping facilities.
For those looking to rent a car on arrival in Cape Town, Avis, Budget, Europcar and Hertz are among the many car rental companies who have representation at the airport.
There are a number of car parking options at Cape Town International Airport. Cars can be parked in the area adjacent to the terminal buildings. There are also valet and disabled passenger services; any visitor to the airport requiring these services should contact the airport in advance to confirm availability.
