Taxis are the easiest way to travel around Cancún athough fares should always be established before the journey. Cancún city buses and shared taxi vans, most of which are air-conditioned, are widely available and inexpensive. Fares vary between USD 2.00 and USD 3.00 per trip. Mopeds, car hire and motor coaches are all available to reach attractions outside central Cancún.
