Budapest Dress Code
While dress code is relatively standard, business attire in Hungary should be smart. Generally, suits are the norm for both men and women. Outside business, casual clothes are acceptable in most places, with the exception of some restaurants and hotel lounges. Clothing should be chosen carefully, as the climate can be changeable.
Greeting Someone in Budapest
Shaking hands is the international business greeting. Hungarians also often use a variation of the word 'ciao' to greet each other, as an alternative for 'hello'.
