Office hours are generally Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17:30. Banks are open between 09:00 and 15:30, Monday to Friday, with some staying open until 17:00. It is also possible that some banks will open on Saturday mornings.

In Brussels, smoking is prohibited where notified on public transport and in some public buildings. It is always advisable to take your cue from those around.
