Beijing - Beijing Capital International Airport

Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) is located 28 kilometres (17 miles) north-east of Beijing city centre. A two-terminal airport, Capital International Airport is a busy hub and handles many international and short-haul flights via most major airlines.

Beijing Capital International Airport has excellent customer facilities including cash machines (ATMs), bureaux de change, a fully operational bank and postal services. There are also a number of cafes and restaurants at the airport, as well as a tempting shopping area that includes duty-free. In addition, for the business traveller, Capital International Airport has its own business and conference centre.

At the present time, self-drive cars are not available in China. However, cars with a driver can be rented on a daily or weekly basis. Help and advice on this can be sought at the Passenger Information area at PEK.

Beijing Capital International Airport has a multi-storey car park that is usually sufficient to accommodate passenger numbers.
