Terminal I operates as the departures lounge for domestic travel while Terminal II serves as the area for domestic arrivals and both international departures and arrivals. Similar to most international airports, Bangalore International Airport (BLR) features several facilities and services, including a post office, restaurants, snack bar, cyber cafe, child care room, tourism information centre, banking services, pre-paid taxi service and handicrafts shops.
Car Rental
Bangalore International Airport (BLR) is served by two car rental agencies operated by local companies. These rental car agents, Varun Taxi and Sai Car Rental, provide vehicles for private use with charges fixed per kilometre of travel.
Car Parking
Car parks are simply divided as parking for private vehicles and parking for auto-rickshaws and taxis. Parking space is limited at the airport.
Transportation
Transportation from the Bangalore International Airport (BLR) is only provided by taxi. Bus services do not operate between the airport and the city. Travellers should use a taxi to reach any destination within the city. Taxi rates are very affordable and the rides are comfortable.
