Business people should be addressed by their title along with a handshake for both men and women. Business cards are also considered important and should be exchanged during introductions.

Bali Business Hours and Banking

Hours of business in Bali are Monday to Friday from 09:00 till 13:00 and 14:00 till 17:00. Most places of business will also trade on Saturday mornings from 09:00 to 13:00. Banks will not be open on Saturday mornings but will be open during the week from 09:30 to 15:00.

Bali Smoking

There is a ban on smoking on public transport in Bali and the visitor should observe this even if the locals often do not. In business, it is advisable to refrain and take cues from the host.
