Adelaide Airport (ADL) is located six kilometres (four miles) west of Adelaide city centre. ADL Airport has two terminals: the International Terminal and the Qantas and Ansett Terminal that handles domestic passengers only. The terminals are about 0.8 kilometres (0.5 miles) apart and a transit minibus is provided for passengers travelling between terminals.
There are good passenger facilities at Adelaide Airport; these include a bureau de change, public telephones and ATMs in both terminals. There is a bureau de change and ISD public telephones in the International Terminal. There are restaurants and a coffee shop in the Domestic Terminal. In the International Terminal, there is a coffee shop. There are clothing and gift shops in the Domestic Terminal whilst there is a gift shop and various duty-free shops in the International Terminal. In addition, for business travellers, there are conference rooms in both terminals. In the International Terminal, an interpreter service is available on request.
For those wanting to hire a car on arrival in Adelaide, ADL Airport has a number of car hire companies on site that include Avis, Budget, Hertz and Thrifty.
Long-term and short-term car parking is available at the airport, at both the International and Domestic Terminals. In addition, facilities can be arranged for disabled passengers and passengers with other individual needs by calling the airport in advance.
